WHY TANG MARTIAL ARTS?

Tang Martial Arts Center is a family-friendly community of students and teachers whose mission is “to build character and enrich the lives of all members through the study of the traditional Chinese martial arts” of Mi Zong Luo Han Kung Fu. The Chinese Martial Arts featured in our school are not sports, but true, genuine fighting arts. The styles include: Northern Shaolin Kung Fu known as Mi Zong Luo Han Style, Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan, Fu Style Pa Kua Chang, Chi Kung, and the study of the use of traditional Chinese weaponry.

At Tang Martial Arts Center, we offer a complete program of Mi Zong Luo Han Style taught in a traditional manner that stresses the total development of mind, body, and spirit.

OUR STYLES

MI ZONG LUO HAN KUNG FU

As with most styles, there are many colorful stories about the legendary creation of Mi Zong. One of these traces the origin back to one day in the Tong dynasty when a Shaolin monk chanced upon a troop of apes chasing each other in the mountains.

WU STYLE TAI CHI CHUAN

Among the five officially recognized Tai Chi Chuan styles in China, Wu Tai Chi Chuan is the second-largest style in the world. In Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, Wu style is the most practiced of the Tai Chi Chuan's.
