MI ZONG LUO HAN KUNG FU

EMPOWERING ALL AGES

Our martial arts programs are based on authentic Chinese martial arts that have rich, time-tested, and proven traditions and methods. The methods we feature have proven themselves on the battlefield and in the dangerous old-time profession of personal goods protection and bodyguard services dating back to standard training for China's imperial family. Besides teaching practical fighting skills, our programs stress the development of good moral ethics, the fostering of strong character, and health-enhancing and maintaining exercises Kung Fu differs from Karate and Tae Kwon Do in principle and techniques. Kung Fu is more fluid and makes more use of circular techniques. However, this does not mean that Kung Fu lacks power. The power in the techniques is generated in much the same way as a towel that is being snapped. A towel is loose and soft, yet if it is snapped quickly, like a whip, it becomes powerful and is rigid and hard at the point of impact. Kung Fu forms are also very complex integrating both kicks and punches. This type of bilateral integration helps with neurodevelopment.

From 5-year-olds and up (with special exceptions), we provide kid-friendly classes,

along with options for teens and adults.
